With collectively over thirty years experience with some of the best stallions in the world, Adam Cook and Michael Hewitt have taken the opportunity to stand two up and coming stallions at Michael's family farm in Denman.

Monaco Consul (NZ) and Salade were selected by Adam and Michael as two stallions that look to have a bright future, particularly with the recent and unfortunate loss of the former's sire High Chaparral (Ire).

A top class Group I winner, Monaco Consul looks to have inherited a lot of his sire's attributes.

He has already equalled, with three months to go this season, his sire's tally of winners in his first season in the southern hemisphere.

Monaco Consul's smart winners include Major Consul, Favoured Grace, and stakes performed Beau Rivage and Honesta.

With the High Chaparral influence things can only look up for the progeny of this dual Group 1 winner.

We all know how popular Snitzel has proven to be, topping the Easter Yearling Sales this year with a $2.2 million dollar colt.

Salade, a son of Snitzel won the Group 2 Pago Pago on debut (the only son of Snitzel standing at stud to do so). He then tried to do the impossible by backing up seven days later in Sepoy's Golden Slipper, running on resolutely.

Physically strong, like so many Snitzels, you can see why Salade was such a great two year old, with his great shoulder and hip.

If you want to breed a two-year old Salade is a must.

We think these two stallions offer breeders diversity and value
